The RIEF network is pleased to announce its 25th annual doctoral meeting, which offers a valuable opportunity for PhD students to present their research in front of a qualified senior audience. Each selected paper will be discussed by a senior researcher in the field. The conference will take place in person.
We are delighted to welcome Natalie Chen (Warwick and CEPR) and Thierry Mayer (Sciences Po and CEPR) as keynote speakers.
PhD candidates on the job market and junior PhDs are invited to submit their papers (PDF, English only) by February 15th, 2026, via the following link: Submission Form
Submitted papers will be refereed and selected by members of the RIEF Board (the complete list is available on the RIEF website). Decisions will be communicated by mid-March. Preference will be given to papers authored solely by PhD students (i.e., without senior co-authors).
A €500 prize will be awarded by the CEPREMAP to the best paper presented. To be eligible, authors and co-authors must be PhD students at the time of submission.
Thanks to our sponsors, there are no submission or participation fees. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
